ATJ (All Things Japan) is an application-based platform for bringing products made in Japan to overseas buyers. We work through export feasibility, English-language materials and preparation for buyer conversations, alongside each maker, one stage at a time.

What we prepare with you
What ATJ prepares with you
ATJ is not simply a place to be listed. We work with you until the product is in a form overseas buyers can understand.
Organising product information
Ingredients, size, volume, shelf life, handling notes. We identify what overseas buyers always ask for, and work through it in order.
English materials
ATJ prepares the English product description, brand background and origin information. You do not need to prepare English yourself. Factual confirmation is handled in Japanese.
Recording origin and maker
Where, by whom, and how it is made. This is what ATJ treats as value. We do not present products overseas with origin or maker background left vague.
Identifying what needs checking
Requirements differ by country and region: ingredient labelling, shelf-life notation, shipping method. We set out what needs checking, in advance.
Listing preparation
Photography, copy and page structure. Publication happens only when ATJ's final approval and your agreement are both in place.
We begin with one hero product. There is no need to expand the range at the start.
Process
The process has five stages
You do not need to provide detailed documents or confidential information up front. Each stage asks only for what it needs.
Send basic information
Company name, brand name, contact, product category, and basic manufacturing and shipping details. About three minutes.
No cost data, detailed specifications or confidential information at this stage.
Confirm by email
We send a confirmation link. Opening it completes your submission.
ATJ reviews the submission (free)
We look at the product, brand fit, shipping readiness, and what needs checking for export.
Detailed questions (about twenty)
Sent only where there is a fit. Around fifteen to twenty minutes.
We tell you the scope in advance, so nothing is sprung on you.
After approval, preparation for listing
Detailed registration, document review and listing preparation.
Nothing goes in front of overseas buyers until ATJ's final approval and the maker's agreement are both in place.

Maker examples are published only where we hold written consent to publish them. ATJ does not publish a company name, product name, photograph or comment without permission. We do not publish invented examples, composite cases, or testimonials written by ATJ.
The images shown here represent the product categories in scope. Real maker examples will appear as consent is obtained. Performance figures will be published with their sources once confirmed.

Common questions
Can we apply without export experience?
Yes. Export experience is not required. We review alongside you and work through the necessary export preparations in order.
Are there any fees?
ATJ's initial review is free. There is no cost to submit basic information or for the initial review. If any later support involves a cost, we explain it and agree it with you beforehand.
Will our products be listed as soon as we submit?
No. Submitting alone never publishes your products or company information. We review, and where there is a fit we explain the next stage. Anything visible to overseas buyers requires final approval and your agreement.
Do you need cost data or confidential information up front?
No. The first submission covers basic information only. Where detail is needed, we review it after an NDA.
Can small makers apply?
Yes. We look at the story behind the product, its quality, honest craft and willingness to work together rather than size.
Do you accept food and drink?
Food and drink require case-by-case review. ATJ identifies the regulatory, ingredient, labelling, shelf-life and shipping points that need confirmation for each target country or region.
