All Things Japan (ATJ) supports Japan-based makers and brands through a structured, low-risk pilot process to explore overseas demand—step by step, without over-commitment.
Who This Is For
We work with brands that produce in Japan with clear provenance and a commitment to maintaining the integrity of Made in Japan designation integrity.
What matters most is your dedication to quality and your willingness to explore international markets with a partner who understands both Japanese craftsmanship and global commerce.
Many of our partners are careful about overseas expansion because their brand reputation matters more than speed.
We work with Japan-based production with clear provenance. We do not support relabeling or third-country workarounds.
It's Also for...
Produce in Japan with Clear Provenance
Your products are manufactured in Japan with verifiable Made in Japan status.
Prioritize Long-Term Brand Positioning
You focus on craftsmanship, consistency, and reputation—building lasting brand value rather than competing on price or scale.
Validate Demand Through Controlled Pilots
You want to test international demand step by step, starting small and expanding only after validation and operational readiness.
Able to Ship from Japan (or Preparing To)
You can fulfill export orders from Japan today, or are actively preparing reliable logistics and shipping capabilities.
Export experience is not required. Readiness, care, and willingness to collaborate matter more than prior scale.
How Partnership Works
ATJ's supplier application process moves step by step from basic information submission, to email confirmation, to ATJ review, to additional confirmation if needed, and then to deeper onboarding only after ATJ approval. At this stage, products are not listed, sales do not begin, and no buyer-facing publication happens. ATJ reviews the information first and guides the supplier to the next step if there is a fit.
Review the Portal & Submit Stage 1 Information
First, suppliers review ATJ's approach, the types of makers and brands we work with, and the application flow. Then, they submit Stage 1 basic information such as company name, brand name, contact information, product category, and basic manufacturing or shipping information.
At this stage, cost information, detailed specifications, and confidential information are not required.
Verify Email & ATJ Initial Review
After submission, ATJ sends a confirmation link by email. Suppliers use the link to confirm or continue the Stage 1 application.
ATJ then reviews the submitted information and checks supplier fit, product details, shipping readiness, and any items that may need further confirmation.
Check Status in My ATJ & Respond if Needed
After applying, suppliers can check their application status and ATJ messages through My ATJ. If additional confirmation is needed, ATJ may send follow-up questions or request supporting information.
If necessary, detailed information may be reviewed after an NDA is signed.
Detailed Onboarding After ATJ Approval
If ATJ confirms fit, the process may move to detailed registration, document submission, product information organization, and listing preparation.
Buyer-facing publication happens only after ATJ final approval and agreement with the maker or brand.
Small pilot validation and broader expansion may be discussed later, after ATJ's initial review and detailed onboarding where appropriate.
